New face of Ashfield – Agile, Authoritative, Approachable

Lockdown has continued to be an extremely busy time for the team at Ashfield. We have adapted to new ways of working and continue to grow our commercial and industrial client base, as well as in new sectors, building on the momentum achieved in the first half of this year.

Aaron Jones and Oliver Baldock have been promoted to Group Level Directors, showing our commitment to invest in our team. Both have extensive experience, leading the field in their respective areas. Aaron is a pioneer in flood analysis and mitigation, having worked on the design and installation of flood defence measures on some of the UK’s most critical infrastructure sites. Oliver has over 20 years’ experience in environmental risk modelling, providing bespoke client solutions, interfacing with software development and database teams. Their knowledge and fresh approach is helping to transform our suite of products, keeping pace with the changing environmental and economic landscape. Added to this we have taken the opportunity to refresh our website, bringing to life our unrivalled experience and ability to adapt our services to high volume smaller sites, transforming the way we do business in the future…

We are also delighted to announce an exciting new collaboration with Future Climate Info (FCI) and the launch of the FCI Flood Appraisal product. Recent flooding in the UK has highlighted how weather volatility is having a direct impact on property and understanding the risks and how to mitigate it are essential. The Flood Appraisal service provides property specific in-depth analysis of known flood risks which is vital when making important decisions on property acquisition. By joining forces with FCI we have launched a market leading product drawing on our combined extensive industry knowledge and ground-breaking data.

Chris Marshall, Director at Ashfield said:

“The pandemic has forced us to adapt to new ways of working and thanks to technology we have been able to communicate and work with clients in an engaging manner. We have also been able to conduct site surveys whilst adhering to greater health and safety precautions, with the safety of our staff and clients coming first and foremost. It is an exciting time to be part of Ashfield as we drive forward the business with the impetus gained from Aaron and Oliver’s promotions to the senior management team. We are also embracing a new forward thinking collaboration with FCI that creates an influential and powerful partnership.”
